Christmas & Winter Creations - Seasonal Blog Hop

Welcome to another •MAKE•IT•Crafty blog hop, this month we will be sharing Christmas & Winter Creations using Close to my Heart  products.

If you have arrived here from Cyndy's Blog, then you are on the right path! Since the blog hop is a great big circle, you can start here and work your way around. If you get lost along the way, you'll find the complete list of participating consultants on HERE.

For my project, I wanted to show ways to use CTMH Complements.  Complements are coordinating chipboard shapes you can use on layouts or cards, they give any project that instant WOW factor!

From layouts to cards, the creativity is endless, so lets start with this layout.  You can find the cutting guide and template in the MIFYH vol. 2 on pages 22-23.

Material used:
Whisper CS base pages
Glacier CS
Cranberry CS
Silver Sequins
Silver Geometric Washi Tape
Slate baker's twine
Journaling Pen
Slate ink

Swing Card #1
This card was made with a simple template and a cutting knife, you can make this swing card even if you don't have a Cricut machine or a Die Cut system.  It's a little more work but you can customized the size of the circle.  I wanted the circle to match the size of the Snowhaven Complement. Here is the template to make your own.  Please note: the circle size is 2 3/4".

Swing Card #2
This card was made using the Artiste cartridge cut at  8 3/4" ***no this is not a typo***, don't forget to use fit to length.  The finish card will fit perfectly in a standard A2 envelop.  You can find this card on page 52.  It was much easier and faster to make but you cannot change the size of the circle, this one cuts at 2 1/2".
